Holiday Time in the Johnstons Family

I'm so lucky to be able to take photos of such a wonderful family! Marg is my co-worker and she's a very sweet lady and so is her family! The kids were super cute and so excited about Christmas and...presents, of course! You could barely see the tree behind all the colorful wrapped boxes.:) Merry Christmas!

Emma`s 1st Birthday!

Oh my, this was the cutest 1-year old that I`ve ever seen! It was a great B-day party with tons of wonderful people and an AMAZING cake. :) You should have been there to see Emma enjoying it so much that two hands were not enough..haha! So cute! She was done within minutes! A beautiful baby girl with great Mom and Dad! Thanks for having us over guys! Happy Birthday, Emma!

Tilt Shift - I love it!

Today I have learnt something new about photography that it so awesome I wanted to share it with you. Actually I made myself a promise long time ago that I will improve my skills every day and today was THE DAY when I discovered something really C O O L! It was like a great X-mas present! This technique is called `tilt shift` and can be achieved with either specific TS lens or with the help of Photoshop. It helps make the subject look really miniature in the frame.

Surprise Christmas Photo Shoot

Wow that was a fun Sunday! And the reason I said "Surprise" is because this photo shoot is going to be a christmas present for Darian and Brooklyn's mom and Keith's wife Karrie (shhh...don't say anything!) and I was happy to be a part of it! This family is really amazing, we had tons of fun taking photos at the YMCA gym of the kids playing basketball and then taking some cool "album cover" shots in the back alleys of the downtown. Thanks guys!!

Family Photo session with Brandi, Victor, Mackenzie and Morgan.

Long time no post..:) Last weekend we did one fun photo shoot with Brandi and her family in the cute little park by the Calgary zoo and were pretty lucky to catch some sun and nice weather before it started snowing the next day! Victor and Brandi are a beautiful couple and their kids were a hoot, climbing the trees, throwing rocks in the river and eating snow..hehehe.:) They even got to feed some birds! I wanted to thank them for a great Sunday afternoon and hope they will enjoy the rest of the photos.:))
