I love kids' birthdays - they are so much fun!! Especially when I could plan everything for our son, Timofey..:)) As a surprise for him we went with the whole pirate theme for his birthday - went to Canuck Amusements and got a whole bunch of pirate supplies - eye patches, telescopes, balloons, spiders, etc...so cool!! And then phoned Just Kidding to invite a pirate over to our house. Kids were mesmerized by Toro the Pirate (can you tell?:))) who did an amazing job being a pirate, teaching kids how to be real pirates, showing them tricks and creating balloon animals for them!
Story time...
Apparently it was a scary story! :))
After the kids left Tim, Alex, my mom and I went for a walk in Nose Hill park, we live on the east side of it so we had to quite a bit of climing to get to see the beautiful sunset that day...We were still a bit late for it, but that's ok - we'll catch it another day. :)
View of the mountains and Canada Olympic Park (COP).
On Sunday we went to Bowness park for more fun!! :) we had kids from Tim's dayhome and it was great to see them play and laugh together even though they haven't seen each other for so long since they all moved on to kindergarten.
Getting the fire going for some yummy BBQ. num num num
My Mexican couple - Brendon and Kaytlin.:)
Tim was trying to do a huge bubble and poured all the soap out instead..:)oops:)
Pinata time! YEAH!
Everyone had a try in hitting the happy star!:)))
Little Yura was our cook for the day...jk.:))
Mia was enjoying all the attention she was getting from the kids and my camera.:)
Can you tell they're from one family?
Mia's footprint on Svetlana's jeans.:)
Some boy time...checking out new toys.:)
"I swear to listen to my mom all the time and do what she says"...(hehe I wish!)...:)
